Wash with mild soap or detergent, with plenty of lukewarm water, dry with soft cloth
or chamois . If you can hose down to remove grit, that would prevent haze from developing. Make sure the rag you use is clean, and soft without any grit. It's a softer material than regular glass, so only clean when necessary. Grease, oil or tar can be removed with hexane or kerosene. Solvent residue should be removed by washing immediatly. |
